Pictured Rocks Kayak Quest

The Munising Lions Club is pleased to offer
experienced kayakers their choice of two
challenging courses in Michigan's Upper
Peninsula on Lake Superior, the greatest of
the Great Lakes: a 17 mile course and a 10 mile
course each of which follow the spectacular
Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

No cash prizes are contemplated both
because this is a charity fundraiser and
because, where these courses are concerned,

The Munising Lions Club is providing commemorative
T-shirts to all who finish and additional awards to
overall winners as well as those who place in four
divisions consisting of adult women (18-40), senior
women (40 and over), adult men (18-40), and
senior men (40 and over).

Safety is our first priority, so please note well the
rules which follow, including especially equipment
required, and realize that both race courses parallel
high cliffs which make it impossible for kayakers to
leave the water.
